Who is the Toolkit for?

This Toolkit has been developed to assist Staff and Managers working the in the fields of migration and refugee inclusion work, so for example individuals working in community administration, public and private migrant support organisations, NGOs, VET, HEI, business organisations and volunteer groups etc.

We aim to provide practical guidance and tool to these managers and staff to successfully build, develop and sustain their networks by helping to professionalise their organisations, their members and  staff, and to strengthen their capacity to act and to increase their visibility.

“Refugees are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children, with the same hopes and ambitions as us—except that a twist of fate has bound their lives to a global refugee crisis on an unprecedented scale.”

— Khaled Hosseini

How to use the resources

Erasmi Toolkit Assessment

To facilitate the use of the toolkit, we have developed an interactive assessment. Here we ask you a few questions about your network and carry out a short needs analysis based on your answers. On this basis, we provide you with a personalised report recommending tools and methods that can support you in your work. You are welcome to do the assessment as an optional first step before you start to work more intensively with the toolkit. Click here to start your assessment

Competence Snapshots

The tools we present in the toolkit are grouped into 6 Competence categories; Communication, Network creation and development, Moderation & facilitation, Coordination and leadership, Project management, Team development. Our presentations give a short theoretical insight into the corresponding categories. Besides interesting background knowledge and helpful hints, you will also find literature recommendations.

Multi-Actor Collaboration Toolkit

In our comprehensive toolkit, we present 38 tools in 6 categories. The tools are not only explained in detail, but also the possible areas of application and the recommended group size are discussed. To deepen your understanding, we provide additional learning resources in the appendix of the toolkit.
